8. He asked if I spoke English (здесь небольшое сомнение, не уверен, что согласование времен здесь нужно)
9. He asked where that man worked (здесь тоже сомнение - третье лицо говорит о третьем лице - перевести местоимением "он" это невозможно, потому что получится, что человек спрашивает про себя. Поэтому пришлось использовать описание "that man" - "тот человек")
